Key points from this report:

  • Turkish Armed Forces entered northern Syria to 鈥渞elocate鈥 the Tomb of S眉leyman 艦ah in Qara Qozaq and to rescue Turkish soldiers stationed there. After exhuming the physical remains and removing three sarcophagi, Turkish forces allegedly destroyed the modern tomb and other structures built in 1975. (pp. 50鈥56)
  • The Syrian Regime鈥檚 2015 southern campaign (鈥淎li Allahdadi for Quneitra Martyrs鈥) has jeopardized heritage in southwestern Syria鈥檚 Hauran Plain.
